Hello, My name is

Dr. Michael Hilley

Dr. Michael Hilley has resided in the Northeast Coast of Florida since 2000. He has been teaching in Higher Education for the past 18 years, primarily in the areas of Management, Leadership, and Organizational Behavior. He occassionally teaches a World Religious Traditions course. Before entering the arena of Higher Ed, Dr. Hilley served as a pastor for 29 years and eight years as a consultant and assistant script writer for a long-running television show on CBS. Presently, he is serving as a Chaplain with the DOC and teaches at several universities as an adjunct faculty. Over the years he has earned a Master of Arts in Religion, a Master of Management, and a Doctor of Management in Organizational Leadership. In addition, he does consulting work with various organizations, training and working with supervisors and leadership within the organizations. His passion is teaching and writing, and coaching. At present, he has recently completed a non-fiction work due for publication in late 2025 and is in the beginning phase of writing a satirical work with a religious theme. He and his wife are involved in a food program in the West Africa area. He and his wife have three children (all grown), a 22-year-old step-daughter and eight grandchildren. His time is spent with family, teaching and writing, serving in the local church, consulting and coaching, and a daily visit to the gym.
